Our H(e)art Story

The H(e)art family has been given a h(e)art for Guatemala, specifically the under-served areas of such an immensely beautiful country.  This is the incredible country to which our son was born and our extended family lives.

A strong Catholic faith, and a love of adventure & travel, guides our family and inspires our h(e)art mission. We feel called to use our story as a platform to honor the dignity and worth of each person and - to both experience and share with others - a slice of God's love.

Our goal is to show solidarity with those in need, not charity.  We seek to understand the situation of others, and work together with them for good.  God has been planting seeds in our h(e)arts over the course of our lives, our marriage and in the building of our family - and it is now time for those seeds to emerge and begin to do the work and pray that His fruit blooms.

We are not trying to save the whole world, but we can work "poco a poco" or "little by little" to make a small difference to one person, family, or community at a time

- sharing in their lives and sharing our h(e)arts with them.

In love,

Andy, Megan, & Mason H(e)art

It is not the magnitude of our actions
but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.
