2023 Projects

  • 53 Students Sponsored for School in 2023

  • 6 visits with emergency food to Chiquimula

  • 2 emergency medical visits have been sponsored

  • 23 local students served on our Student Advisory Board here in Ohio, students from Chagrin, Ketnston, Orange, NDCL, West Geauga, and Solon participated.

  • Hunger Banquet put on by our Student Advisory board, had > 75 people attend and raised both awareness and funds for our summer projects

  • Vitamin drive has allowed us to be bringing over 100 bottles of prenatal, children, and adult vitamins to the medical clinic in Izabal

  • Spanish book drive gave us 30+ Spanish books to contribute to the schools' library

  • 2nd Service Learning Trip happening June 2023 - 13 people traveling to Chiquimula and to Puerto Barrios in Izabal, Guatemala to serve and learn in the Parish with Padre Anton Grech.

  • 100 Days for Girls menstrual kits were made and packed here locally to bring to Guatemala and the participants on the service trip will teach and distribute the kits in the community.

  • 20+ Smokeless stoves have been funded and some will be installed during our time in Guatemala.

  • Funding secured to complete construction and stock the needs of the medical clinic that serves women and children rescued from domestic violence.

  • Funding secured to provide a starter fund for a local Guatemalan community who want to build a church in their community.

  • For fun and fellowship - a Pickleball net, paddles, and balls have been donated to teach this game as a learning and sharing activity while on mission, per the request of Father Grech :)
