Completed Projects

The following is a list of projects completed since we began in fall of 2016.

Thank you to our generous sponsors and all your donations!

Security Door

The first step to helping rehab this alley into a safer home is to replace the rusty, sharp door tied with rope, and unable to secure the families inside-

with a door that is able to moved safely and has the ability to be locked.

An important first step before any other home improvements are made - and is necessary to keep the women and children living in this alley safe.

New propane stove

Provided this family with a propane stove that uses a low amount of fuel.  This stove will be used both for home use and for a tortilla making business.

Improvements in income and safe cooking methods both have a direct impact on health.

wood burning stove for tortilla shop

One other large wood-burning stove was constructed to help for large batch cooking of tortillas and also the ability to cook food to be sold on the street.

Stove projects help with both the nutrition of the family and the ability to increase income.
