The following is a list of projects completed since we began in fall of 2016.

OrANGE CART BUSINESS

"A"'s dream was to start a business where she can sell oranges. In Guatemala, oranges are served on the street as a snack with spices and salt on them.  For each orange she sells, she can make 7 cents.  This does not sound like much, but for a family with no income, this is an incredible increase!  

Many families live on less than $2 per day!

Spices to sell in market

Helping small businesses to start and thrive is part of our mission. "R" sells spices at the market.  Your donations allowed us to invest in her business to increase her profits and better provide for her family.

These small investments in local economy helps not only the person that we invest in, but all the people and businesses that are impacted by her improved income

Electricity

Your donations helped to get this family's electricity reconnected which has allowed them to use their electric stove again as more than just storage shelves.  

The kitchen is usable as a kitchen now!  This is the before picture - waiting on the after one - but we did get a report that their oldest daughter is now able to study for her exams late into the night now!
