The following is a list of projects completed since we began in fall of 2016.

New Stove for P & A

Photo in the top right was their stove for many, many years!  It was falling apart and dangerous to cook on as the flames were not well contained in the rusted out stove.

Your donations contributed to providing them with a new wood burning stove that uses less wood, has a chimney to bring the smoke out the home (better for health), and is much safer to prepare food on!

This simple change in how they can cook their food safely can make a huge impact on their health, nutrition, and even income if they can sell more food at the orange stand.

Thanks to your generous support, when we delivered and set up the new stove - this family also received some food staples such as beans, eggs, and corn.  

Eggs are a treat for this family as they often cannot afford to buy protein items like eggs.

New chair and Table

"P", a 77 year old man, who supports his wife and kids by picking up garbage in the streets and washing cars on the side of roads - received a new chair and table set this week.  The top right picture is his old chair that was missing a back

Can you imagine how nice it much be for him to have a back on his chair when he takes a rest from his hard work?
