Volcano relief
Your donations allowed H(e)arts 4 Guatemala to respond immediately to families in crisis after the devastating volcanic eruption of Fuego. The Garcia Family was able to purchase the most needed items and deliver them to the towns and people that had been evacuated. The full extent of the damage from the volcano is unknown but we were able to bring a small ray of hope in the form of food, water, and items such as beds, blankets, and protection gear. One thing that makes my h(e)art smile is the ability to help Guatemalans be able to help Guatemalans.
Partnering for Good
In addition to direct aid provided by our team, we have been able to generously support organizations that we have a personal relationship with and can verify provide ethical and responsible care to those in need. These organizations provided emergency medical care including burn treatments, medicines, and tools for families to begin to rebuild. The need will remain great in Guatemala and we look forward to partnering with these organizations for good.
